Manual Search Steps
Want to search on your own? Here is how to find what you need.
- Search "[Company] [Role] decision maker" on LinkedIn
- Look for department heads or team leads on the company's "About" page
- Check who posted the job listing (often visible on LinkedIn)
- Search X/Twitter for employees mentioning open roles
- Check the company's "Contact" or "Locations" page
- Look for the office nearest to where the role is based
- SEC filings list registered addresses (public companies)
- For remote-first companies, use the legal headquarters
- Search the company name + city in Google Maps
- Check Street View to confirm it's an active office
- Look for suite/floor numbers in reviews or photos
- Cross-reference with the company website
Special Cases
Multi-office companies
Pick the office where the job is based. Most job posts list the city.
Remote-first companies
Use the main HQ. Mail gets routed to the right person inside.
Startups without public addresses
We dig through Crunchbase, state filings, and co-working space lists to find them.
International companies
